Teacher Development Course

Course Description This course is aimed at teaching professionals who wish to develop their teaching skills and to keep up to date with developments in Language Teaching Methodology. This collaborative course draws upon the teaching experience of course participants and focuses on developing new techniques, activities and practical ideas to implement in the classroom. The course also includes two personalized workshops, giving students the opportunity to build upon and put into practice what they have learnt. The practical workshops also enable students to share experiences and work collaboratively on creating and adapting materials for the classroom on a focus of their choice. Course Outcomes Greater awareness and understanding of up to date developments in English Language Teaching Increased confidence and command of English in a classroom setting Increased knowledge of current trends in CLIL and selection of activities to implement in the classroom.
