NIS offers 10 General English (GE) levels, aligned with the CEFR. You will take a placement test to determine your level. GE courses are 15 hours weekly, taught in the mornings, and are mandatory for all students.
Courses focus on developing the four skills: Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing, along with core systems like Grammar, Vocabulary, Pronunciation, and Discourse. Functional Skills are included to provide real-life practice.
All grammar and functions are taught communicatively, with outdoor activities for practical application. We offer courses for all levels, from Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C2). Upon enrollment, students take an Oxford placement test and a speaking interview to ensure accurate placement (check Public Holidays).
